I’ve been with the diocese since June 2015 working first at the Chancery as the Front Desk Coordinator then transitioning over to the SRC in March of 2021. My family and I are members of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church here in Victoria, TX and I am super blessed to have found family away from family. It has been truly an honor to be working for the Diocese of Victoria in Texas under our humbled shepherd, Bishop Brendon Cahill and all those who help serve our Lord. The SRC is such a beautiful place to not only visit but to work to serve all those who visit. Not one retreat is the same and it is amazing to see how the Holy Spirit is working at the end of each retreat. GOD IS GOOD!

I have been working in the housekeeping department for the Spiritual Renewal Center (SRC) for ten years. I enjoy watching football, especially my favorite team the Dallas Cowboys. My daughter Mallisa will be graduating from Victoria West. I have two grandsons, one is six and one is two. I also have a dog named Nemo.

I have been an employee for the Spiritual Renewal Center (SRC) as of now for ten and a half years. Prior to this I was working at Ventura’s and one Sunday at Mass I took a bulleting home with me that had a position available. Bingo, I applied for the job (kitchen help) which I’m good at. With this kitchen position you see a lot more people that come to the center. I make it a duty of mine to be there to serve these people who come through the doors of the SRC. I am a member of Our Lady of Victory Church, which I have been attending since 1962. Dearly, I thank the Lord for giving me this opportunity to work at this special place. This is my home away from home.

My journey with the Diocese of Victoria, Spiritual Renewal Center (SRC), began August 8th, 2022. My family and I are “roman” Catholics, attending mass at various parishes and help where we are needed. The SRC is my home away from home. To have a work environment that is not only peaceful but spiritually rewarding is a true blessing. God’s love and grace is beautifully found all around the SRC.
